STEPANAKERT, MAY 9, ARTSAKHPRESS: “Dear soldiers and officers,
“You are successors of the May victories now, and I would first of all like to congratulate you. The country’s borders are inviolable thanks to you and you are defending not only your posts, but also the Homeland. I congratulate you on the threefold May holiday, and may the enemy be always terrified by your strength.
“Let the victories in the Great Patriotic War and in Shoushi be your guideline and inspire you with bravery. Another Ma 9 holiday is the formation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army, which is developing thanks to you.
“I bow my head before the soldiers fallen in the 1990s and in our days, as well as before their families. I bow my head before the wounded soldiers that defended the posts and wish them soonest recovery.
“I congratulate our nation on the May holidays. The latest developments showed the Armenian people can be united and stand side by side with the soldier. I wish ourselves unity, especially during these days.”
