Baku World Chess Olympiad: Armenia yet to decide participation
STEPANAKERT, MAY 25, ARTSAKHPRESS-ARMENPRESS: Lputyan’s statement comes after the Azerbaijani media reported as if FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov announced the Armenian chess players will participate in the Olympiad.
“The decision is yet to be made. We are currently discussing, but there is no decision yet. We have received a proposal, stating our participation will be desirable, but we haven’t decided. Probably they just announced their desire,” Lputyan said.
