Artsakh’s Police Chief resigns
STEPANAKERT, JUNE 6, ARTSAKHPRESS: He made a statement in which he particularly noted that the wave of recent complaints made everyone contemplate. Demand for my resignation was not the only reason for concern. Other causes were maintenance of domestic security and prevention of domestic political tensions.

In 1991 I volunteered for the Artsakh liberation war. During my whole service I tried to present my devotion towards Fatherland through my own example.
Occupying the position of Chief of Police since March 25, 2013, my main aim and mission was serving the people, creation and strengthening of an atmosphere of trust between the police and people.
External and internal security and creation of conditions for peaceful viability of people have always been priorities for me.

Taking into consideration the demand of people I submitted a letter of resignation to Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan,’’ Police Chief says in the statement.
