Autumn sowing works are underway in the republic

STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 19, ARTSAKHPRESS: Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh Vilen Avetisyan said in an interview with ''Artsakhpress'', noting that 49 thousand 220 hectares have been ploughed.
He noted that as of today 31 thousand 486 hectares have been sown as compared to 52 thousand 320 hectares of the previous year.
18 thousand 689,5 hectares of 31thousand 486 hectares –autumn wheat and 12 thousand 796, 5-barley sowings.
The decrease of the sown areas is conditioned by low precipitation in September-October.
