Turkey intends to launch an operation east of the Euphrates river in northern Syria, Hurriyet Daily reported.

STEPANAKERT, DECEMBER 12, ARTSAKHPRESS: "It is time to realize our decision to wipe out terror groups east of the Euphrates," Erdoğan said adding "we will start the operation in east of the Euphrates in a few days to save it from the separatist terrorist organization.”
In late October, the Turkish president announced this large-scale operation. He promised to destroy the terrorists in the region.
