STEPANAKERT,  JANUARY 16, ARTSAKHPRESS: Head of the “Free Motherland” party, Arayik Harutyunyan, wrote on his Facebook page and added that responding to such misinformation, first of all as a person who is well aware of Artsakh economic system, states that these concerns are inappropriate.

"In this regard, I will refer to a number of projects implemented in 2018. In particular, during the past year only in the hydropower sector the construction works of 10 new small hydropower plants have started, some of them by means of foreign investors. In addition, 5 small HPPs have been put into operation, and their total investment cost is several billion drams.

Since the fourth quarter of 2018, in the communication and telecommunications sector the launch of a $ 15 million investment project has begun. In the construction field there are no funding problems related to major charitable and investment projects.

Finally, the economic year has been concluded with a double-digit economic growth in Artsakh, which once again proves the stable course of economic development. And all these successes are based on the important and active participation of the Armenian authorities.

By the way, I want to assure that all the prerequisites have already been created to ensure a double-digit economic growth in Artsakh in the coming years as well,” wrote Harutyunyan.
