The delegation of the Armenian Student Sport Federation will take part in the 28th World University Championships (Universiade) to be held in Gwangju, South Korea.

Armenia will take part in World University Championships in South Korea

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 26, ARTSAKHPRESS: Armenia will participate in the Games, starting from July 3, with 22-member team: 12 sportsmen, 6 coaches, 2 referees and 2 other representatives.

The head of the delegation, the board member of the Armenian Student Sport Federation, Master of Sports, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Hovhannes Gabrielyan stated during the meeting with the journalists on June 26 that the Federation has been participating in the University Championships since 1995.

“This year delegations from 170 countries take part in the Games. We will compete in 6 sports: fencing, judo, taekwondo, gymnastics, swimming and tennis”, - stated Hovhannes Gabrielyan.
