Mulberry and New Fruit Tree Seedlings imported to Artsakh

With the State support, as a part of fruit-growing program, thousand mulberry seedlings have been imported from Syria to Artsakh.

Mulberry and New Fruit Tree Seedlings imported to Artsakh

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 3, ARTSAKHPRESS: As the press service of the NKR Ministry of Agriculture informed, the program will further the development of mulberry cultivation in Artsakh.

The Minister of Agriculture of NKR Aram Mkhoyan informed that the mulberry seedlings will be provided to farmers free of charge.

New seedlings will be developed from some of mulberry trees for regular refreshment of mulberry gardens in Artsakh.

Besides the mulberry saplings, Asmaryan Green Land CJSC have imported 15 other fruit trees seedlings (apple, pear, plum, almond, fig and various types of pomegranate, as well as pistachio, kiwi).

The seedlings will be provided to farmers after breeding them in the greenhouse.
