Babayan: Hawaii recognition of Artsakh independence is part of triumphant campaign
STEPANAKERT, MARCH 30, ARTSAKHPRESS: “When the US State of Georgia recognized the independence of Artsakh, we said that various developments are expected,” NKR President Bako Sahakyan’s spokesperson, Davit Babayan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am: “The State of Hawaii’s recognition is a part of the triumphant campaign; we underscore this.
“The peculiarity of this state is that it was once a kingdom, today it is part of the US. It’s very important that there is an important formation, which has recognized the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, also in this part of the world.”
In Babayan’s words, this is the course of the triumphant campaign, which is inevitable.
As reported earlier, the House of Representatives of the US State of Hawaii on Tuesday formally recognized the independence of NKR, and joined the ranks of the US States of Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Maine, California and Georgia, which recognize and support the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
