STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 14, ARTSAKHPRESS: These attorneys and human rights defenders expect the ECHR, as an international mechanism for the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, to record the fact of the violation of rights, in which case Azerbaijan will be obligated to provide fair compensation to the victims whose rights have been violated, and, subsequently, to create and run investigation mechanisms for all violations of human rights during the aforesaid military actions, to find those accountable for these violations and subject them to just punishment, and to end its discriminatory state policy based on nationality.
