Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Malta on a working visit on March 29 to take part in the sessions and summit of the Congress of the European People’s Party (EPP), press service of the President’s Office told.

STEPANAKERT, MARCH 29, ARTSAKHPRESS: Sargsyan will participate in the European People’s Party (EPP) Congress, which will bring together leaders from the countries and governments representing the EPP member political parties from the European Union and the Eastern Partnership member countries.
After his arrival at Malta International Airport, Sargsyan headed for Hastings Gardens in downtown Valletta, the capital city, where he was welcomed by Mayor Alexiei Dingli, Maltese MPs, and representatives of the Armenian community.
Also, the President laid a wreath and paid tribute at the Armenian cross-stone that was installed at the garden.
