The Defense Ministry of Artsakh Republic reported that the Azerbaijani forces made more than 40 ceasefire violations across the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
Azerbaijani forces violate ceasefire, fire mortar at Artsakh posts
STEPANAKERT, MAY 2, ARTSAKHPRESS: The Ministry issued a statement which says: “On May 1 and overnight May 2 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime more than 40 times by firing over 540 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
In the southern direction of the line of contact the Azerbaijani forces fired also 60 mm mortar (2 shells).
Artsakh’s Defense Army forces continued confidently fulfilling their military tasks and took countermeasures in case of necessity."
