This year the number of tourists visiting the Tigranakert Historical-Cultural Reserve doubled as compared with the previous year.

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 4, ARTSAKHPRESS: The head of the Tigranaket Historical Cultural Reserve Aramais Aghabekyan said in an interview with Artsakhpress, noting that as of October 1 they had 13639 visitors, as compared to 7965 visitors of the previous year.
The number of visitors in 2016 decreased because of war events. The flow of tourists in general was decreased. But in 2015 the huge flow of tourists visiting Artsakh was observed. However I should note with great pleasure that the indicator of the current year has exceeded the indicator of 2015 by 1.7 percent.
Talking about new exhibits of the reserve, Aramais Aghabekyan said that as a result of excavations done in the current year, replenishments have been done.
He also informed that the exhibits in 2 halls of the reserve are classified according to chronological order.
