STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 27, ARTSAKHPRESS: As “Artsakhpress” informs, the Artsakh Investment Fund will carry out conveyance of passengers from the Renaissance Square of Stepanakert.
“The transport fare is 1000 drams. The festival will start at 11:00 am,” Martuni Mayor Mher Khachatryan said.
A series of cultural events, including a concert, folk dances and games are scheduled to be held during the festival.
The festival is aimed at encouraging the pomegranate farmers to sell their harvest, as well as attracting more tourists to the region.
"There will be 50-55 pavilions for the festival, where all regional centers, gardeners of the region and processing plants of Martuni will take part in the event. According to our agreement the harvest will be sold lower than the market price, "he said.
The pomegranate festival is being organized at the initiative of Martuni Municipality and with the financial support by philanthropist Gastello Mkrtchyan.
