Jointly financed by the Hayastan All-Armenian foundation and the Artsakh Government the works of Getavan village’s community center in the Martakert region are in the final stage.
Getavan village of Artsakh to have a new community center
STEPANAKERT, MARCH 5, ARTSAKHPRESS:Head of the Getavan community, Ararat Zakaryan, told Artsakhpress about the aforementioned. He added the construction works were launched in 2015.
“The two-storey, multifunctional building has a village municipality, hall for ceremonies, library, computer room and lobby. The building has been furnished, and has a heating and ventilation system,’’ Zakaryan said. He added that construction of such community centers not only solves a number of problems but also provides effective and systematized activity.
He informed that presently the village municipality is located in one of the classrooms of the school.
