Ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, an international forum devoted to the Genocide will take place on April 9-11 in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Artsakhpress reports, citing Prensa Armenia information agency that the forum will be organized by the Tres de Febrero National University with the assistance of the Armenian Embassy to Argentina and the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop.
“Though the Turkish government did not change its anti-Armenian position, during the recent years essential changes have occurred in the academic field. Several Turkish historians, like Taner Akçam and others, have made an invaluable contribution in the studies of the Armenian Genocide”, - said the Chief Coordinator
