The series of events dedicated to the 27th anniversary of Artsakh Independence began early in the morning with Defense Army soldiers’ solemn march through the main streets of Stepanakert.
Artsakh celebrates Independence Day
STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 2, ARTSAKHPRESS: President of the RA Armen Sargsyan, who is presently in Artsakh on a working visit, together with Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan accompanied by the top officials of Artsakh and Armenia walked from the Renaissance Square of the capital to the Memorial and laid flowers at the memorial and graves of soldiers, who died for freedom and independence of Artsakh.
Afterwards the Army honor guard ceremony was held.
In the framework of celebration festive events are to be held in all regions of Artsakh. A concert will be held at the Stepanakert Revival Square. The celebrations will end with a firework display.
