On October 7, Artsakh State Minister Grigory Martirosyan paid a working visit to a number of state and private households in the Askeran region, Artaskh Republic.

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 8, ARTSAKHPRESS: The State Minister first visited the "Pedigree Station" CJSC, where he got acquainted with its conditions. He particularly inquired about milk production volumes, provision of calves, bulls and heifers within the framework of the local herd improvement program, as well as with existing problems and made a number of observations. Grigory Martirosyan noted that the "Pedigree Station" should become an important center for the development of cattle breeding in the republic.
Afterwards, the State Minister visited the drying plant of the Rural and Agricultural Support Fund, where the volumes of harvesting and the daily processing opportunities were presented.
Then Grigory Martirosyan visited the garden being built by private means where the company which has received the corresponding license, is carrying out installation of the drip irrigation systems within the framework of the state support program.
State Minister noted that the program is of great importance, and next year it is envisaged to allocate more funds by state budget for the continuing and expanding the program.
Grigory Martirosyan was accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Artsakh, Zhirayr Mirzoyan and the Director of Rural and Agricultural Support Fund Tigran Tsatryan.
