STEPANAKERT,  JANUARY 22, ARTSAKHPRESS:  Today the PM first met with Christina Ahmadjian, a board member of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries company. Pashinyan noted that the Armenian government is interested in cooperating with this company and in the latter’s possible activities in Armenia. The Premier also stressed that there is a great potential for technological development in the country and, in this sense, the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ activities in Armenia may be promising.
Ahmadjian, for her part, underscored the ongoing processes in Armenia, in terms of drawing new investment projects into the country, and expressed readiness to assist the Armenian government in establishing ties and cooperation with various Japanese companies.
Subsequently, Nikol Pashinyan met with president Shinichi Kitaoka of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). They discussed the programs which JICA implements in Armenia, as well as the opportunities for making their cooperation grow deeper.
PM Pashinyan stressed that Armenia is interested in expanding collaboration with JICA, and stands ready to take the necessary steps. Kitaoka, in turn, highlighted that all ongoing JICA programs in Armenia will be continued. Also, the interlocutors drew attention to the deepening of Armenia’s trade and economic relations with Japan.
Separately, Nikol Pashinyan met with vice president Cathy Foster of eBay. The PM underscored this company’s activities, and noted that it is in line with the ongoing technological transformation. The Armenian premier added that eBay’s activities are in great demand in Armenia, and highlighted the need for expanding its services in the country. 
The PM added that Armenia will host the next world high tech forum in October, and he invited eBay to this event. In addition, Nikol Pashinyan stressed IT development in the country.

Foster, for her part, expressed willingness to visit Armenia to discuss the prospects for eBay’s activities and implementation of investment projects in the country.
