On September 16, a solemn opening ceremony of the capitally renovated secondary school named after Meruzhan Stepanyan was held in the Moshatagh community of Kashatagh region, Artsakh Republic.

STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 16, ARTSAKHPRESS: The implementation of the renovation works was co-financed by “Hayrenaser” (Patriotic) organization and Artsakh Republic Government.
Artsakh Republic Minister of Education, Science and Sport, Narine Aghabalyan, who also attended the event, noted that another renovated school is being opened in the liberated land of Kashatagh region.
Narine Aghabalyan said in particular: “In this way our people bow before the heroes, in this way they bow before Meruzhan , who sacrificed his life for the Motherland during the 2016 April War.
I am confident that our teachers will do their utmost to make the students that powerful force that will ensure the revival of this land. I wish our students and teachers great success and educational achievements. ”
“This is the 6th school that has been renovated in Kashatgh region. Renovation works of the schools are carried out thanks to the donations of our compatriots from the Diaspora. We have built a hall and bathrooms in this two-storey school. With financial support of the Artsakh Republic Government a boiler house has been built in the school; heating systems and furniture have been installed, " N. Martirosyan added.
The honor of cutting the red ribbon was given to Meruzhan Stepanyan's parents Nune and Arthur Stepanyan and Nelly Martirosyan, the founder of the “Hayrenaser”Organization.
The event was attended by Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan, Artsakh State Minister Grigory Martirosyan, other state officials, Kashatagh residents and others.
