STEPANAKERT, SEPTEMBER 9, ARTSAKHPRESS:During the meeting Samvel Babayan presented the activities of the office of the Security Council, touched upon a number of topics on the agenda and answered the questions raised by the deputies.

Presenting the structure of the Security Council office and the problems that the office faces, Samvel Babayan said the structure is a body attached to the President of the Republic, which mainly carries out the President's orders and implements the software strategy.

According to the Secretary of the Security Council, the powers given to them, according to the order of the President, are completely secret and are not subject to publication.

The Secretary of the Security Council thinks that the whole legislative package should be changed and clarified in the Republic. Referring to the army, Babayan noted that their office is developing programs of strategic importance, which will be a stimulus for the development of the army.

During Q&A with deputies, the Secretary of the Security Council also referred to the creation of a militia in Artsakh. According to him, next week the Security Council is going to convene its first session, during which the issue will be discussed.
Summing up the meeting, S. Babayan expressed readiness to actively cooperate with the parliamentary forces.
