Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Armen Ashotyan attended in capital city Yerevan, the session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society.
Armen Ashotyan: Karabakh youth are deprived of opportunity to study in Europe
STEPANAKERT, MARCH 17, ARTSAKHPRESS: Ashotyan also delivered an address devoted to Armenia-European Union cooperation in the domain of education, informed the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia. In particular, the minister spoke about the Bologna Process, and the ongoing European education programs in Armenia.
He also reflected on the violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms, and stated that even though the right to education must be accessible to everyone, numerous youth in Nagorno-Karabakh, Kosovo, and several other similar places are deprived of the opportunity to study in Europe.
