STEPANAKERT, APRIL 6, ARTSAKHPRESS: The main organizer was the ARF “New Generation” youth organization. This was informed in an interview with “Armenpress” by Murad Papazyan, the Co-chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France.
“The youth were very joyful and had the right to be that way. They were shouting “Karabakh is ours”. Initially the local authorities provided an area for the protesters. Around 1000 protesters were present. Armenians of France stood up, just like all Armenians of the Diaspora. The demand was to establish a ceasefire, and secondly to make Azerbaijan return to the negotiations and accept peace,”Murad Papazyan said.
One more protest is scheduled to take place outside the Azerbaijani Embassy in France. It will take place on April 9, at 16:00 local time. This time it will be organized by the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France. “The important thing is that all Armenians have stood up and are supporting Karabakh and the Armenian Army,” Murad Papazyan added.
