Schools of Kichan and Nor Ghazanchi received support from the Armenian-Iranian community

On February 2, the members of "Zartonk" (Awakening) Dance Ensemble of the Armenian-Iranian community visited schools of Kichan and Nor Ghazanchi villages and presented them sports equipment.

STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 3, ARTSAKHPRESS: In an interview with “ Artsakhpress”, the head of the initiative, artistic director and choreographer of “Zartonk” Loretta Avetisyan  said that the sports equipment is intended for 60 pupils.

 “It is a great honor for us to be in this school. I hope that this equipments will help to organize the  teaching process more effectively. Our community will constantly support Artsakh.

If there are projects on fund raising, the community does everything  to help  our homeland", explained L. Avetisyan.

The headmaster of the school Karine Asryan on behalf of the school's teachers expressed gratitude  to representatives of the Armenian community of Iran for supporting them.

The responsible of the commission of “Zartonk” Dance Ensemble " Vahik Astsatryan, telling about the life of the Armenian community of Iran, noted that more than 30 000 Armenians live in Tehran now.

"The Armenian community keeps national identity.

We have our churches, sports, cultural, educational and other public centers that promote active community life," Astsatryan told, adding that the center of cultural and educational life of the Armenian community of Iran is concentrated in Tehran.
