EP Member: We are in Artsakh on a fact-finding mission
STEPANAKERT, JANUARY 25, ARTSAKHPRESS:As Artsakhpress correspondent informed, the deputy of the European Parliament Lars Adaktusson told reporters about the aforesaid. He noted that they had a meeting with Artsakh President and had a chance to talk about the matters of their interest to understand the developments of Artsakh.
“I am here at the invitation of ARF Armenian National Committee of Europe. This organization actively operates in Brussels and we have efficient cooperation with them,’’ EP Member informed. He added that Friday’s agenda is saturated as they have to gather all the necessary information in a short period of time.
To note, on Thursday Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received a delegation led by member of the European Parliament Lars Adaktusson. A range of issues relating to the Artsakh-Europe ties were on the discussion agenda. Special attention was focused on the development of parliamentary cooperation. President Sahakyan noted that Artsakh is interested in the deepening and expanding relations with the European Parliament and other European structures.
