Community problems gradually being solved, says mayor of Artsakh's Karin Tak

STEPANAKERT, JUNE 26, ARTSAKHPRESS: Head of the community, Mkhitar Arushanyan, said that through the financing of ''Hayastan'' All-Armenian Fund, buildings for the community center and for the village's kindergarten were built. In addition, the community school’s gym was renovated and a modern heating system was installed.

''The community was destroyed after the Artsak war. Today Karin Tak is developing. Year by year community problems are being solved. In recent years, the project of paving the roads has been launched. The project is financed by the Artsakh government and it will be carried out on a continuous basis. The Shushi-Karin Tak intercommunity road has been partially renovated. In the upcoming days, mud roads by fields are set to be improved,’’ M. Arushanyan said.

The mayor said that about 50 families have received building materials for renovating roofs of their detached houses.

The school of Karin Tak has 99 pupils. The kindergarten has 25 children. Six children will start attending school in the new academic year. In 2016, fourteen children were born. In 2017, this number increased by four. Five were born this year.

Speaking of residents’ occupation, head of the community said that some of the villagers work in capital Stepanakert and in Shushi.

“Farming and cattle breeding are the main occupation of people. Currently, there are about 200 cattle in the community. The village has permanent water and gas,’’ M. Arushanyan said.
