Family medicine training program being organized in ''Arevik'' children's medical unit ended
STEPANAKERT, NOVEMBER 13, ARTSAKHPRESS42 physicians from Stepanakert and all regions of Artsakh participated in the program.
Dr. Hambartsum Simonyan, coordinator of FAR’s health programs, in an interview with ''Artsakhpress'' said that since 2011 the program has been implememnted in Artsakh.
He noted that specialists invited from Armenia during the six-week training program tranferred theoretical and practical knowledge to Artsakh doctors.
Samvel Hovhannisyan, Doctor of Medical Sciences of National Institute of Health of the Republic of Armenia said that the program includes the fields of therapy and pediatrics.
''We have discussed various issues. The training was interactive from the perspective of theoretical knowledge and skills.
It is gratifying that the Artsakh doctors were not only listeners, but also made suggestions and questions. I think the knowledge they have acquired will help them to provide medical treatment,"he said.
Lusine Sargsyan, the head of Kovsakan Regional Hospital and participant of the training program, said that the courses gave them an opportunity to communicate with new colleagues and share exp eriences.
