Artsakh expects active cooperation with Armenian partners, particularly in monuments restoration, training of specialists, book publishing, and cultural education.
During the meeting, Lernik Hovhannisyan said that in Artsakh a number of spheres of culture are trying to develop a new policy especially in the direction of raising the role of libraries and museums.
For the reconstruction of the theater building, Lilit Makunts proposed to organize a joint fundraising or cultural event, the entire proceeds of which will be provided to the theater of Artsakh. As for the training of specialists, the acting Minister of Culture proposed to use the opportunities provided by the Armenian-Italian Regional Rehabilitation Center in Armenia. In the field of book publishing, Armenia is ready to assist Artsakh partners.
According to Lilit Makunts, cultural contacts should be activated due to different events.
At the meeting a number of agreements have been reached, which will be consistently implemented.
