The "Hayordiner" Annual Scout Camp launched in Shoushi

By the initiation of "Hayk's Generation" social organization, the "Hayordiner" 5th Annual Scout Camp with the title "Together for Artsakh" in Shoushi has been ongoing since July 17.

STEPANAKERT, JULY 23, ARTSAKHPRESS: Hayk Generation social organization’s Vice President and member responsible for camp security Vladimir Grigoryan noted that a lot of young people are included in the camp.

"This year we plan the camp to be in three sessions,”  Grigoryan added .

Currently in the camp’s first session, 120 campers from Artsakh’s regions and Stepanakert as well as Syrian-Armenians are included.

 

“Soldiers are also included in the camp, with the aim of strengthening army-society relations ,”  explained V. Grigoryan. He said that different patriotic trainings are organized in the camp concerning Armenian Genocide, Artsakh conflict and the life and activities of national heroes.

Different sporting and cultural competitions are held in the camp and campers perform national songs and dances. Campers eat meals 3 times a day.

The total number of the campers  will be 450.

 

"It's the second time that I participate in the camp. The day is organized in a very interesting way. Different sporting and cultural competitions, national songs and dances, excursions are held in the camp,” said a camper from Berdzor.

Private Hayk Davtyan said, “It is the first time I take part in such a camp, I like its organizational and programmatic aspects.

The participation is special for me because of the cheerful children in the camp. They aspire us and oblige,” he said, adding that he will more energetically continue his military service.


“Taking into consideration our experience and mistakes, we try to make the camp’s program more advanced and elaborated,” said R.Hayriyan, Chief of Staff of the “Hayordiner” youth camp.

The camp is organized with the assistance of the NKR Government, the Ministry of Defense, the NKR Rescue Service, Police and "Future Generations" Fund.
