By the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide it is planned to erect a monument in Stepanakert Memorial Complex commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The memorial project “Belfry” is designed by the architects Vladimir and Michael Sargsyan. “The work on the project began two years ago, as a result, one sample out of 20 was chosen by the Architects Board, which in shape, size and height corresponds to the territory where the memorial is to be erected.
The construction of the complex has already begun. It will be 18 meters in height built with white marble from the village of Sznek. The work will be completed by the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide”,- told the co-author Michael Sargsyan in an interview with “Artsakhpress”.
